Arsenal drew 0-0 to Atalanta in their last Champions League. They were lucky to get away with a point from their first game. it looks all to be in favour of the Gunners but it will be a tough clash with both sides unbeaten so far.

Arsenal are still in pursuit of a major trophy, with their last significant triumph dating back to 2003 when they lifted the Premier League title. PSG are a dominant force in France, winning ten titles in the last 12 years. However, their goal of winning the first Champions League title is still unfulfilled. The Gunners are unbeaten in their last nine games in all competitions, and have scored first in seven of the previous nine. Therefore, expect them to get off to another strong start. They have not lost at the Emirates since April. Arsenal’s previous home game against a French side in the Champions League was a 6-0 victory over Lens in last season’s group stage. Their defence is stern across the board and the return of Donnarumma is significant, but I fancy Arsenal to claim a statement Champions League win on home soil.

Arsenal will be without Martin Odegaard, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Takehiro Tomiyasu, Mikel Merino, Ben White and Kieran Tierney. Vithina, Desire Doue, Marco Asensio, Goncalo Ramos, and Presnel Kimpembe should remain out with their injuries. But Gianluigi Donnarumma and Nuno Mendes, should recover on time for the Arsenal match.
