Steven Gerrard Early Life

Steven Gerrard was born on May 30, 1980, in Whiston, Merseyside, England. Gerrard grew up in a family that was passionate about football. His father was a semi-professional footballer, and his uncle was a professional boxer. Gerrard began playing football at a young age and joined the Liverpool Academy when he was just nine years old.

1998 to 2004

Gerrard made his debut for Liverpool in 1998 at the age of 18. His early career was characterized by his impressive performances on the pitch. He quickly established himself as a key player in the team. Gerrard scored his first Liverpool goal in November 1999, and by the 2000-01 season, he had become a regular starter for the team.
