Which shows they want more for the 27-year-old. Scott McTominay and Kobbie Mainoo, two of the outstanding performers of an otherwise starless 2023/24 campaign, are earning just £65,000 and £20,000.

Off the pitch, there is now great hope with Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS looking to oversee drastic improvement on the pitch following their arrival earlier this year.
Fulham however are not giving up on the Scot as the Old Trafford outfit are fully expecting another bid from them for McTominay. How much Fulham might offer remains to be seen.
